Just got my new 1100, getting used to the clutch, and stalled coming out of first. Bike started up just fine and rode fine, but MIL (engine) light came on and stayed on. Any suggestions on how to clear it? Is this something that only a service shop can do?
You could remove one of the battery terminals for a few minutes and see if that does it, but I´d take it into the store if it´s new. It could be just a coincidence you stalled it and something is actually really amiss.
