count me in with the stock seat haters…. I have the Icon and classic seats, they are both, well, stupid. Why the ridge? why, why, why ?!? but I digress… My question for you, Do you sit in the back cup of the seat, or do you slide forward up against the tank after a few miles? The corbin still looks tilted forward. but it looks like the seating position is moved back from stock(which I want), but the tilt I'm no fan of. thanks for your opinions
Sorry youre getting beat up on here for your color choice…I think if you wrap the panels to match as you plan, that would look great!

It does actually make you sit further back instead of hugging the tank. The biggest benefit would be theseat base being wider and supporting your behind completely as opposed to the original that mimics a dirtbike seat. Riding position is more relaxed due to the extra support. No the paint did not rub off on my tank yet...will take more photos of the rubbing soon.

It looks much much better in the updated pics. I think if you can add some color on the rest of the bike to match the seat it will look great!

Seating is def growing on me as well. I'm seriously considering it now. One question- Do you think you could fit a Kriega 10 bad on the back portion of the seat?

Crazy how the camera angle completely changes it. I was so disappointed when I saw your first pictures but now I'm on the opposite side and love it! Still uncertain about color but the form looks great from this angle!

Has anyone bought a Corbin seat and didn't like it for any reason?

I don't like the price but the stock seat is not comfortable, thinking a little extra cost of the seat might be worth it.
I know you can have the OE seat redone for a lot less money, I think I just want a new seat, I've never heard any bad stories about Corbin seats.

Its like this: no reply on this forum, I called their 800 number no answer and no voicemail, I sent them an email several days ago, no reply.

Maybe its not in the cards for me to have a Corbin seat.

Thanks, I guess

I put a Corbin on a Triumph 800 XC and sold it after a month. The workmanship was fine, but it wasn't comfortable at all.
