Testing the Scrambler's off roading limits

Broke the oil filter after bottoming out the front forks on some rough terrain. That dark trail behind the bike is all my oil.

Now I know why the owner's manual says the bike is not meant for off road riding. The 80/20 OEM tires were surprisingly solid and the bike is perfectly capable keeping traction on loose ground. The high handle bars are perfect for standing too. Really, it's too much fun off road to not do it.

If you're going to take it off road I recommend you get a proper bash guard and maybe consider upgrading the front forks. I think Ohlins are in my future.
