Smile Scrambler as an Adventure Bike?

Coul you use a scrambler as an adventure bike and if so which model would be best for back road touring and camping.

Yes. And you want the Desert Sled if you plan to off road it (I have one on order to replace my current Icon). Here is mine loaded with plenty of gear, which is more than I take for a week long backpacking trip. This pic was taken at the beginning of a weekend spent in Superior National Forest along the Canadian border exploring trails. It came back very dirty.

I have the Kappa LH202:

Side Bags : LH202 16/25 LITER SIDE BAGS

I've been very happy with them, and so far haven't seen any I like better. They could do with a couple more mounting straps and loops for folks who want to tie them down, though. I fastened a piece of black poly cutting board to the back of the bag and bolt that to the stand-off. Since I have the bags supported that way, I felt OK cutting off the throw-over strap that sits toward the front of the seat, no worries having to sit on it. For the stand-off, I ran an aluminum bar from the seat rail down to the footpeg bracket. A couple of pictures:

I've removed the aluminum stand-offs and have been working on a cheap version of the Kriega Duo plates made from another cutting board, think those are going to work just fine, too.
