Frame plugs.. so check this out..

I installed frame sliders as well as axle sliders on my Italia.. Then, I went looking for some frame plugs for the remaining two openings.
All I could find was sets of 4 and big money!!! Major punking going on with an after market item Ducati should have included to begin with imho...
So... being a road / MTB guy...
I took a steer-tube compression plug (The web looking kind) from and 1 1/8th fork plug set and inserted it into the frame and then screwed a top-cap on it... BOOM.. cheap and sweet! Locked down tight also...
Cheers, John

Garage
Those look great! Can you provide information on where you got all the materials and what exactly they were?? I'd like to duplicate that for my Scrambler, if you don't mind. :-)

Any Road / MTB Shop!!

Ask the wrenches in the back with a 6 pack... they should have a 'take off' bin full of them....
Any bicycle shop has fork steerer tube plungers and handlebar stem caps. I used 1 1/8 size, but a 1 inch might even be better!
These are the kind that have 4 prongs that go inside the steer-tube on a bicycle fork. Be sure to get the 5 mm allen bolt that tightens on to the spider nut which goes in the steer tube of the bicycle fork!
